Optical Windows

The optical window is usually composed two parallel faces. Its main function is to protect the luminous components or camera as well as space isolation. Suitable substrate material, good surface quality and flatness can make the best performance. When the light passes through it, it has a good penetrating force and low distortion.In general, optical windows have different coating requirements to achieve the desired optical specifications. All these windows are widely used in aerospace, scientific research, optical imaging, lighting, medical, vacuum and many other fields. The application spectrum ranges from 180nm deep ultraviolet to visible light, to 1064nm near infrared, to 14um far infrared.

Germanium Window

Germanium windows are ideal for IR applications with its broad transmission range and opacity in the visible portion of the spectrum.
